A Day in the Life of a 7th Grader (Monday and Wednesday Edition)

By Cecilia Rodriguez and Nadia Petrovich

At the beginning of the day you enter the school through the lobby and lock your Yondr pouch (though most 7th graders don’t lock them).

Then, you walk up the stairwell sigh and go up to the fourth floor for advisory.

Next, you walk into advisory to get your attendance taken, and to receive any important info or announcements.

You go to block one where you begin your day of learning.

After that, you continue on with the rest of your morning blocks walking through the halls until it’s time for lunch.

Finally, you go to the cafeteria to pick up food and enjoy a hot meal while socializing with your peers.

After lunch, you go to long advisory and catch up on announcements while playing fun games.

When long advisory ends, you head to your block 4 class. Then, you continue on with the rest of your classes, and end your day at studio.

Once you arrive at your studio class which may be Coding, Music, Digital Art, Knitting, Visual Art or Dance, you enjoy a nice break from your academic endeavors.

At the end of the day, you rush to the 11th Street exit for dismissal and unlock your Yondr as you think about all the fun things you’re going to do after school.
